I’m a sucker for these houses and this one is a great example at a good price too!  It’s being marketed by the lovely people Sewell and Gardner at a guide of £275,000 which is cheap and I think it could go for more.

This house is in the area known locally as the square which has a lovely little community.  How do I now this?  I live there too and love it.

It’s a conservation area so there are a few restrictions on what you can change to your house. i.e. no more front porches, renders or dormers allowed without planning permission but this one is ready to go and would achieve a top end rent of potentially up to £1200 as it’s a 2/3 bed house rather than the two bed it’s sensibly being marketed as.

That gives you a yield of about 5.2% which is good considering the rocketing prices in this area.

The house looks like its recently been refurbished making this a turnkey property investment. Complete the purchase and find yourself a nice tenant in less than a week and start earning some money and benefiting from the current growth in the area.

Really popular area.  Near to hospital and centre of town.  These houses are really popular with hospital staff.  Bad parking even with permits but that’s nothing new in this area or anywhere else in West Watford.
