This flat looks spacious, in reasonable condition although a new kitchen wouldn’t hurt.  It’s in a fantastic popular location in Nascot Village and could definitely achieve a fair bit more in rent than it is currently receiving with a little facelift.
It’s being marketed by the folks at Marshall Vizard for £250,000.

But of course if you read the full description there is only 42 years left on the lease which does have a huge effect on the value and of course will affect whether you can buy with a mortgage which in this case you wont be able to.  You could look at this as a problem or you could work out how much this lease extension is going to cost you once you have purchase the flat and whether you will have added enough value to make it worth your while.
Lease extensions are not a simple equation so you will need a specialist to help/quote.  The agent may already have an idea of what it will cost however I would advise you take independent advice before proceeding.
